Our secure prescription paper is compliant with the new secure prescription requirements from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

Prescriptions can be electronic sent to pharmacies from ScriptSure, but there are some medications (controlled medications) that cannot be sent in this way. Printed medication smust be on secure paper. We offer paper that incorporates all the necessary security elements.

To be considered tamper resistant as of October 1, 2008, a prescription must contain at least one of the following three characteristics:
1. one or more industry-recognized features designed to prevent unauthorized copying of a completed or blank prescription form;
2. one or more industry-recognized features designed to prevent the erasure or modification of information written on the prescription by the prescriber;
3. one or more industry-recognized features designed to prevent the use of counterfeit prescription forms.

Prescription Paper Options:
Secure paper is a necessity with printing prescriptions. Many states currently have template formats that contain all the fields and proper formatting necessary for legal printed prescriptions. ScriptSure contains pre-programmed formatting for all states. Users simply need to decide what printer they would like to print to.
