Prescription eligibility, benefit, formulary and medication history information is provided - for consenting patients - to authorized physicians at the point of care via RxHub. This real-time decision support information is used by physicians to prescribe the most clinically appropriate and cost effective medication for patients and enables Informed Prescriptions to be sent electronically to the patient’s choice of pharmacies. ScriptSure has partnered with Star Micronics, one of the world's largest printer manufacturers amassed with 50 years of manufacturing expertise, who has devised a thermal printer which integrates with ScriptSure e-prescribing software solutions. Star’s TSP800 thermal printer enables doctors to print secure prescriptions versus handwritten prescriptions from a pad, avoiding legibility errors. Utilizing specialized and secured prescription paper, prescriptions are printed using the latest medical technology software available, resulting in a secured legible script in seconds.
