thermal printer. This printer is ribbon-free, silent and prints
1100 characters per second; approximately five times faster than
any standard printer. It takes only three seconds to print an entire
page of text. The printer is fully networkable within ScriptSure
and additional printers can be purchased for networked machines.
The DAWkey printer is additionally compatible with the Standard
Edition and Advanced. Not available for customers
in State of New Jersey.

Version 2004 features advanced printing flexibility, allowing
users to print to either the small format DAWKey
printer or to another mass-market printer (i.e. Hewlett Packard
desktop or laser printer). For example, prescriptions can be printed
to the small thermal printer, while patient notes, disease information
sheets, etc., can be printed to an 8 ½ x 11 sheet.
