D.A.W. Systems, Inc. secure prescription paper blanks are compliant with the secure prescription requirements from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and all States.
Advanced security rolls shown above. To be considered tamper resistant as of October 1, 2008, a prescription must contain at least one of the following three characteristics:
- one or more industry-recognized features designed to prevent unauthorized copying of a completed or blank prescription form;
- one or more industry-recognized features designed to prevent the erasure or modification of information written on the prescription by the prescriber;
- one or more industry-recognized features designed to prevent the use of counterfeit prescription forms. Section 1903b(i) of the Social Security Act (42 USC193b(i), paragraph (23).

Prescription Paper Options:
Secure paper is required when printing prescriptions. Many states have specific designs and fields oriented on the prescription in order to be valid. D.A.W. Systems, Inc. prescription paper incorporates all the necessary security elements and proper design to ensure compliance with State Laws and acceptance by pharmacists.
